Authorized Persons

Authorized persons shall be appointed by trading members of the Exchange in the Capital Market, Futures & Options and Currency Derivatives Segments.

Authorized Person can be "Any person-individual, partnership firm, Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) or corporate body.

Authorized Person provides access to trading platform of a stock exchange as an agent of the stock broker.

"Authorized Person will be paid by the stock broker only he can not charge any-fees, charges, commission, etc. for his services from the clients, stock broker can share brokerage with the Authorized Person.

”The clients” introduced by the authorized person and ‘the trading member’ should have a direct relationship by doing “the member-constituent agreement, know your client forms, risk disclosure document, etc. The trading member issue the contract notes and bills directly to the client (such as contract notes, confirmation memo and/or bills in their name).

The clients introduced by the authorized person are required to deliver securities and make payments directly in the trade name of the trading member (as appearing on the SEBI registration certificate). Similarly, the trading member deliver securities and make payments directly in the name of the clients.
